Established in 1983 by UBC students and basketball-crazed brothers, Doug & Paul Eberhardt, the eberhardt basketball Camp was a way to pass on their love and passion for basketball to a younger generation of players. It also meant not having to get a real summer job... Now entering its 24th year, the eberhardt basketball Camp strives to provide the best in fun and fundamentals for young basketball players. Campers get the best in instruction - individual offence & defense, team concepts, fundamental drills, high caliber competition and a variety of contests. Multiple graduates of the eberhardt basketball Camp have gone on to not only represent their schools but also their regions, the province, Canada and other high level select teams. Players such as Hunter Jordan (Magee, Mt. Royal College), Kyle Wilson (SFU), Josh Masters (Brandon, Harlem Clowns), Curtis Augustus (North Idaho), Derek Potter (Boise State), Brent Charleston (SFU, Australian NBL pro league), Karlo Villanueva (UBC), Jatinder Johal (Manitoba), etc., have brought their games, and improved their games, at the eberhardt basketball Camps. As well, eberhardt Camp All-Stars are eligible to play for the ebehoops Coalition Basketball Club in summer tournaments such as the "Slam 'n Jam Grand Finale" held in Las Vegas at the end of July. The ebehoops Coalition Club team dates and schedules are normally announced in mid-May. Stay tuned... All Campers receive an official camp t-shirt and are also eligible to win a variety of valuable prizes courtesy of our sponsors. Here are the 2008 Camp Dates!
